Easement Trust, Inc is a qualified 501(c)(3) nonprofit
charitable
organization that is dedicated to preserving our nation’s
historic buildings and sites through the acceptance and responsible
management of historic preservation easements.
The historic preservation easement is a voluntary legal
agreement
that enables a historic property owner
to establish certain preservation restrictions
while
retaining possession and use of the property.
By donating a historic preservation easement,
the property owner may
qualify for a
tax-deductible charitable contribution
equivalent to the fair
market value of
the preservation easement.
