Preservation Easement Trust, Inc, a New Jersey nonprofit 501(c)(3) corporation, provides a variety of online information, forms, services and links for its members, donors, directors, and the preservation community in general (such as real property developers, owners, professionals, and investors) relating to properties that may be used for qualified
preservation contributions and/or qualify for historic rehabilitation tax credits. Preservation Easement Trust is committed to protecting your privacy with respect to information collected from, and provided to, our website. The statement below discloses our Privacy Statement. I. Collection of
Information
We collect non-personally identifiable information about you in
a number of ways, including tracking your activities through your
IP address, computer settings or most-recently visited URL. We do
not collect any personally identifiable information about you unless
you voluntarily submit such information to us, by, for example,
filling out membership, donation, contact us and/or preservation
donor application forms. The types of information that may be requested
include your name, address, e-mail address, telephone number, property
and/or donation related information, etc.
In general, we use the information that you provide to us for the
purpose for which such information was provided. We may also use
this information for website administration and to contact you to
deliver information about our charitable mission, upcoming events,
membership drives, fundraising efforts and website, as well as to
respond to your specific questions and/or issues. To a limited extent,
the information may be provided to strategic partners and/or select
third-party entities, both for-profit and non-profit, deemed in
our sole discretion to be beneficially involved in areas consistent
with our charitable mission. However, if you do not wish this limited
distribution of your information, we do provide an opt-out choice
(see below). Non-personal demographic and profile data will be used
to optimize your experience at our site, showing you content that
we think you might find desirable, and to improve our service offerings.

We may use your IP Address to help diagnose problems with our server,
administer our website, provide automated website features, and
to improve our understanding of website traffic flows and user preferences.
When you view our website we might store some information on your
computer. This information will be in the form of a "cookie"

on your hard drive, not on our site. Cookies do not spy on you or
otherwise invade your privacy, and they cannot invade your hard

or third parties under certain circumstances; third parties may
unlawfully intercept or access transmissions or private communications.
Therefore, although we use industry standard practices to protect
your privacy, we do not promise, and you should not expect, that
your personally identifiable information or private communications
will always remain private. Also, with respect to websites that
are linked to our website, we have no responsibility and/or control
over their privacy practices, content, administration, etc. We disclaim
any and all legal liability for any websites that you choose to
visit from our website. We strongly urge that you consult their
privacy policy prior to revealing any personally identifiable information.

Our site has industry standard security measures in place to protect
the loss, misuse and alteration of the information under our control.
While there is no such thing as "perfect security" on
the Internet, we will take all reasonable steps to insure the safety

efforts to ensure that your information is appropriately modified

VII. Opt-Out Decision
You may opt-out from having your information provided to strategic
partners and/or select third-party entities, both for-profit and
non-profit, deemed in our sole discretion to be beneficially involved
in areas consistent with our charitable mission, by sending an e-mail
via Contact Us stating
that you “opt-out.”
We may change this Privacy Statement from time to time based on
your comments and our need to accurately reflect our data collection
and disclosure practices. All changes to this policy are effective
after we provide you with at least thirty (30) days notice of the
changes. We provide you with thirty (30) days notice to allow you
the opportunity to notify Preservation Easement Trust if you do
not agree to such changes.
